1. Easy to use, rapid establishment of artificial airway (autonomous, controlled).
2. The success rate of intubation is high, 87% for the first time and 99.81% for the second time.
3. Reliable ventilation, better effect instead of mask.
4. Can avoid throat, vocal cord and trachea injury.
5. Small stimulation and cardiovascular response.
6. First aid (emergency ventilation).

Disposable silicone Laryngeal mask airway
Shortcomings
1. The sealing effect is not good, stomach distension (especially IPPV), should not be too high positive pressure ventilation.
2. Laryngeal mask is more likely to cause esophageal reflux than face mask, so it is forbidden in patients with full stomach.
3. Increased oral secretions.
4. For some types of laryngeal mask, ordinary sputum suction tube cannot be used to attract tracheal secretions through the laryngeal mask.

Disposable silicone reinforced Laryngeal mask airway
When intubation is not possible and ventilation through a mask (CICV) is not possible, the laryngeal mask is placed first for ventilation and endotracheal intubation is performed through the laryngeal mask.
